What's New to the Site?
4/22/09 - With a little sadness, I need to announce that I will not be updating IntoBattle.com going forward. With the Launch of World War II Central, I will be focusing all attention there. IntoBattle.com has been a great learning experience and I appreciate all the great feedback that has come over the last couple of years.
Make sure to visit World War II Central frequently, my plan is to have better and more up to date articles than I have had here. IntoBattle.com will remain live and I don't have any plans to take it down soon, only the updating will cease.

Welcome to IntoBattle.com, this site is dedicated to the collecting, painting, and gaming of World War II Miniatures. My miniatures of choice are GHQ 1/285TH (6mm) but in reality, I'm interested in all scales (anything World War II).

World War II Central - A New World War II Gaming/Modeling Community Site!
For a long time now, it's been my desire to create a site that focuses on World War II Miniatures and brings all the scales and rule sets together. There are several great sites out there, but often times at these sites you aren't allow to post "competitor" information or photos... so as a result you might not always get the information you need.
World War II Central bypasses these restrictions and welcomes everyone. We a Forum, Photo Gallery, Reviews, Articles, Tutorials, etc. We will be growing as a resource each week with new content and articles.

Making History... a wargaming tribute
What is the point of historical wargaming and miniature collecting? For most of us it's an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the historical battles that have shaped our world... to understand the decisions that past leaders have been faced with... and to try our hand at Making History.
This video is meant to show these aspects of miniature wargaming. It can apply to all miniature scales and time periods... although on the surface it was filmed using 1/285TH (6mm) miniatures and is a depiction of battle between the Germans and Soviets on the eastern front in World War II...

It is my hope that this video will in some small way show those not familiar with miniature wargaming the possibilities that exist for historical recreation. I also hope that those who know and enjoy this hobby will have a few minutes of fun watching it. Enjoy!
